What Is Magnetic Nail Polish?
Magnetic nail polish (also known as magnetic gel polish or cat eye gel polish) contains tiny magnetic particles suspended in pigmented gel. When you hold a cat eye magnet over the wet polish, the particles shift into patterns - creating that signature cat's eye light effect. The result is a luminous 3D gradient that catches the light beautifully.
How to Apply Cat Eye / Magnetic Nail Polish
- Apply base coat and cure under your UV/LED lamp
- Apply one coat of cat eye magnetic gel polish
- Hold the cat eye magnet close to the nail for 10-15 seconds while the polish is still wet
- Cure under the lamp, then apply a second coat and repeat the magnet step
- Seal with a no-wipe top coat
