How to Apply Bluesky Builder Gel for Perfect Nail Extensions
Achieve professional-looking nail extensions with Bluesky Builder Gel by following these step-by-step instructions. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned nail artist, proper preparation and application are key to flawless results.
Step 1: Preparation is Everything
- Start by shaping your nails using the Bluesky Nail File
- Push back and trim your cuticles using the Bluesky Cuticle Nipper for a clean nail bed
- Gently buff your nails with the Bluesky Nail Buffer to remove shine
- Cleanse your nails with a Bluesky Cleanser Wipe to remove dust and oils
Step 2: Apply the Base Coat
- Apply a thin layer of Bluesky Base Coat to all five nails, making sure to cap the ends - avoid the skin and cuticles
- Cure under the Bluesky LED/UV Lamp for 60 seconds. The base coat will remain tacky, which is normal
Step 3: Apply the Builder Gel
- Attach a nail form to your nail and secure it in place
- Using your Bluesky Builder Gel and a nail extension brush, carefully apply the gel to the form, extending it to your desired length
- Cure for 60 seconds under the Bluesky Lamp
- Repeat the process to build on the first layer, then cure for an additional 60 seconds.
Step 4: Shaping and Finishing
- Once you're satisfied with the length and shape, repeat the process for all remaining nails
- File each nail to the desired shape using the Bluesky Nail File
- Buff the nails with your Bluesky Nail Buffer for a smooth finish
- Use a Bluesky Cleanser Wipe to remove any dust or debris
Step 5: Apply Final Coat
- You can now apply your Bluesky Base Coat, Bluesky Gel Polish, and Bluesky No Wipe Top Coat as normal
- Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds after each coat
Step 6: Clean Your Tools
- To clean your Nail Extension Brush, use a Bluesky Cleanser and a lint-free wipe. You can also use a Bluesky Cleanser Wipe, which is pre-soaked and lint-free for convenience.
By following these steps, you’ll achieve durable and beautiful nail extensions using Bluesky Builder Gel.
