Prep Your Nails

  1. Shape & clean: Trim, file, and buff nails to remove shine and create a smooth surface.
  2. Cuticles: Gently push back cuticles so polish doesn’t lift.
  3. Clean: Brush off dust and wipe with cleanser to remove oils.

Apply Base Coat

  1. Apply a thin layer of base coat to all nails.
  2. Cure under your LED/UV lamp for 60 seconds
  3. Apply 1-2 coats of your fave Gel Polish colour if you want and cure for 60 seconds between coats

Place Gel on Palette

  1. Add a small amount of your Ombre Palette Gel and onto a palette or foil.

Create the Ombre Effect

  1. Pick up gel: Use your sponge grabber or brush to pick up a small amount of the ombre gel.
  2. Tap/pat: Gently pat the gel onto the nail where you want the gradient — start at the tip or cuticle and work toward the other end.
  3. Blend: Continue patting lightly to blend colours into a smooth gradient.
  4. Cure: Once you’re happy with the look, cure under the lamp for 60 seconds
  5. If you want a stronger ombre effect, repeat the patting process and cure again.

Tip:  Patting the gel is designed to make gradients easy, so light taps help the colours transition smoothly.

Seal with Top Coat

  1. Apply a Top coat over the finished ombré design.
  2. Cure under your lamp for 60 seconds
  3. Wipe off any tacky layer with a cleanser wipe if needed.

Final Tips for Better Ombre

  • Work in thin layers — thick gel can look patchy.
  • Don’t rush blending; gentle, repeated patting gives smoother gradients.
  • Use a clean brush to soften harsh lines before curing.
