This Christmas, BLUESKY is on a mission to celebrate the people who spend their lives putting others first, launching the BLUESKY Christmas Kindness Awards to find and reward Britain's unsung heroes with a little festive appreciation of their own.
With a Christmas hamper worth over £300 up for grabs, BLUESKY is inviting the public to nominate someone who deserves a special thank you for the kindness, generosity and support they have shown throughout the year.
Ten finalists will be selected from the nominations, with each receiving a special BLUESKY Christmas Gift. Their inspiring stories will then be shared publicly before the nation is invited to vote for their favourite. The person receiving the most votes will be crowned the BLUESKY Christmas Kindness Awards winner and receive a luxury Christmas hamper worth over £300.
From the teacher who goes above and beyond for their pupils, to the nurse who offers comfort during difficult times, the neighbour who is always there to help or the nail technician who quietly makes their community a better place, the awards will shine a spotlight on the everyday heroes whose kindness makes a real difference. Whether they spend their time caring for others, supporting their community or simply making life a little brighter for those around them, BLUESKY wants to hear their story.
How to Nominate
Members of the public can nominate their chosen Christmas hero by sharing their name, role and the story of why they deserve a special Christmas thank you. Photographs and short videos can also be submitted to help bring each nomination to life.
Nominations close on 25 November 2026, with ten finalists announced 27 November. Their stories will then be shared for a public vote, which closes on 6 December. The winner will be announced shortly afterwards, with the Christmas hampers delivered in time for the festive season.
